This video showcases how to install another one of Spiker Engineering's cool products. This product was made to mount the Scangauge II in your ’96-02 4Runner (3rd Gen) or ’96-00 Tacoma (1st Gen). It places the Scangauge where you can see it without taking your eyes off the road and without obstructing your view. No need to use suction cups or tape that won’t stand up to daily use or heavy wheeling. It attaches securely to the A-pillar grab handle & was made from a precision laser cut from heavy gauge cold rolled steel, and finished with flat black powder coat.

This product is 100% USA Made and includes industrial strength 3M Dual Lock strips to hold the Scangauge securely.

NEW** A high-strength M6x1.0 socket head screw is included to replace original Phillips grab handle screw.
NOTE** SCANGAUGE IS NOT INCLUDED

**Note: To install this mount, you will need to remove the a-pillar handle Phillips screw. Early Toyota trucks had loctite applied to these screws, and some are more difficult to remove than others. You may be able to remove it with regular tools, or you may need a special JIS bit and impact driver, or (in rare cases) you may need to drill out of the screw. The instructions supplied with these mounts provide some tips on tools and techniques to help remove the screw. We recommend that you try to loosen the screw BEFORE placing your order, to make sure that you can get the screw out. Please contact us for additional tips on screw removal. A replacement high strength screw is included with the mount, in case you damage the original Phillips screw.
