Bimobil Ex 358 4x4 motorhome review

The Bimobil Ex 358 4x4 has an Iveco chassis with a powerful Iveco engine, high ground clearance, short wheelbase, mechanical differential locks and high and low range gears giving 24 forward and 4 reverse gear ratios. The firm mounting of this Bimobil motorhome makes it comfortable to drive on asphalt and dirt tracks as well.

The rear of the vehicle encompasses a ‘U’ shaped seating area. The dining table slides to enable access and can be lowered to bench height to convert the whole seating area into a double bed.

The beds in the luton are configured longitudinally, so that each occupant can get in and out individually. Easy access steps are folded away when not in use. The ends of both beds extend over storage and wardrobe space.

A good-sized bathroom with separate shower is centrally located opposite the well-fitted kitchen, which has a two-burner hob and a stainless steel sink fitted into the mineral-acrylic work top.

The refrigerator is a 12V compressor unit.

The whole living area is built on a double floor which offers storage.

The fresh and waste water tanks are built into the left and right portions of the double floor, heated and insulated against outside cold. The waste water release valve is also in this heated and insulated compartment, while still being accessible from outside.

There is additional storage in ceiling lockers.

The film is a bit wobbly due to stabilisation issues which have since been resolved.

I live in a motorhome full time and travel around Europe in it. I spend most of my time in Poland, Germany and Italy. Vanlife is my life.

In my YouTube channel, I present reviews of recreational vehicles. I do this by regularly attending trade events such as CMT Stuttgart, Abenteuer und Allrad, Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, Warsaw Caravan and Camping Show and sometimes others.

I cover equipment, including 12v electrical equipment and talk a lot about lithium batteries.

I also show some of the places I have visited in Europe in my own motorhome, as well as the places you can stay at! I try to give as much coverage as I can to official campsites and free places which I use for overnighting. Therefore you can find here the aire or stellplatz that you are possibly looking for.
