The Gray Widowers (INTERDIMENSIONAL ARACHNIDS) The Mist Explored

The Mist is a 2007 horror film based on the 1980 novel of the same name by Stephen King that features a range of interdimensional creatures. One of these is the Gray Widower which is a large black spider-like creature with yellow piping that features 12 multiple-jointed legs and pomegranate-like red eyes. Hailing from an alternate dimension, the creatures could fire strands of corrosive webbing as projectiles from the oval-shaped orifice on the upper portion of their abdomen.
