FRESH VINTAGE HAUL TO MY RESELLER BOOTH | ANTIQUE MALL SHOP & TOUR

Take a trip down memory lane with me as I visit the Northwest's leading antique town and the West Coast's biggest antique mall! The Court Level of Star Center Antique Mall features a bunch of vintage dealers, including my space, which is freshly restocked and reorganized for the first time since the lockdown.

40 years of antique trading in this giant vintage emporium attracts many specialists, and we see clusters of merchandise that offer examples of collecting categories like Disneyana, dog and cat figures, banks and bakelite. Elegant glass and uranium green fill an old-timer's display, while down the hall are Star Wars figures and action comics that are bringing a new generation collecting joy.

My spot at the end of the Court is freshly fitted, with plush Persian rugs, elegant Victorian furniture and some real bargains on little furnishings. A crazy owl lamp and giant Blue Mountain sailfish balance out a pretty display of Capodimonte and Royal Gouda ceramics. I show a case of stylish Western here (from real Native American baskets to 50's cowboy kitsch), then turn the camera onto the lovely vintage fashion and accessories my friend Stephanie brings to fill her portion of this oversized double booth.

Ever wonder if the Hamm's Beer bear has a name? Hear of a mechanical Valentine? Know how to tell if a piece of furniture is period? This video reveals all it can, including lots of pricing info and the reasons collector reference books still have relevance for today's resellers. Yet our tour only scratches the surface of this bountiful and bodacious antique pavilion, whose specialists fill far more space than we can possibly cover in one video. We'll just have to come back!
