Gunmen have killed at least 170 people in separate attacks on villages in Nigeria.
The IS-linked Lakurawa group was reportedly responsible for deadly raids on two remote villages in the country’s west, while at least 21 people were killed in a mass shooting in Katsina’s Doma village.
The US has dispatched a small taskforce to Nigeria to deal with the crisis.
