We are officially in contract for the purchase of this beautiful 15 acre lot!!! 235k plus closing. We will be putting 100k down and paying closing from money that we've saved. We'll be getting a 135k land loan, at a high interest rate which we'll payoff upon the sale of our current house, which is paid off, with an estimated value of 222k. That leaves us with about 87k to put in septic, well, and build majority of which we'll be doing our selves. In addition, 5 acres will be sold off to our parents, for around 78k once their home sells.

We anticipate staying in Tucson working and saving up until spring. Early spring we will know more about where we stand when it comes to building. As a basic outline our plan is to build a pre fabricated shop. Stay in a rv (which we already own) parked in the shop, while we build our home. Plans may change but this is our rough outline. I'll keep you posted on the numbers.
