Final Fight 2 (SNES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of Capcom's 1993 Super NES beat 'em up, Final Fight 2.

Played through on the Expert difficulty level with Haggar.

It's exactly what the title would imply - in every tangible way it's an upgrade over the original SNES game - it allows for 2-player simultaneous co-op play, it has three selectable characters, broader movesets, and a larger variety of enemies.

I do really like this game, but still - despite the obvious leap forward all of the mechanics in the game made over the first, I can't help but favor Final Fight. It just has a lot more character (or is it nostalgia) in my opinion? Either way, it's a great beat 'em up for anyone that enjoys arcade brawlers, and this one is a console exclusive (just like the third, and final canonical game in the series, was).
