The Court observed that homemakers build families, nurture children, care for elders, and contribute to the nation's future. That's why the Court said homemakers should be recognized as 'Nation Builders.' It also held that the loss of domestic care should be treated separately in compensation cases and fixed a minimum value of ₹30,000 per month for such domestic care services. This ruling came in the context of a motor accident compensation case.
