Intense Upper Body Gym Routine - Train Abnormal. This video shows 3 different gym circuits that I recently tried out. If you are interested in mixing gym and calisthenics just remember gym is an ACCESSORY not a NECESITY! Depending on your fitness goals use gym to beat plateus, for aesthetic reasons or because you enjoy weight training. My usual routine is training 4 times a week. Day 1 - Push / Day 2 - Pull / Day 3 - Rest / Day 4 - Legs / Day 5 - Gym weight training (muscle group of choice) / Day 6 - Rest.
