Jergingha's first form is pretty straightforward, shouldn't give you any trouble. The 2nd one though...

Counter his punches and hammer with Guts and dodge the rest to the best of your ability. Use Whip to rip off or destroy the mace and use Claws to open the dimensional rift after he attacks (and don't have a total brainfart like I did here...).
Be wary of his red punches, you can tell by the red light on the floor that he's going to use those, as you can't counter them.

Note: kudos to PG for referencing a commonly returning Nintendo boss with his design!

Knock out the droids to add them to your group, break the shield when you've got enough and repeat. Now attack his weak points with everything you've got!
