This particular song from Maiden's second album is, for me, a standout track from 'killers'. It has, arguably, Iron Maiden's best guitar solo, simple and yet so iconic, melodic and cinematic in scope. Prodigal Son has such a distinct 1970s sound and offers some sunshine to an otherwise moonlit monster of an album. Respect to the Mighty Clive Burr R. I. P.
