In November 2017, Stephen Ridley gave away 50 tickets to an intimate performance at the legendary Dean Street Studios in London, home to legends such as The Rolling Stones, Adele, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Robbie Williams, Drake, Chris Martin, The Weeknd, Tom Odell, Pop Piano, and more.

At this once in a lifetime concert, Stephen played a collection of new songs to his friends, family and biggest fans. This is the first in a series of videos which will be released from this evening. In it Stephen performs 'Who We Are' for the first time live, a classic pop piano song.

Speaking about the song, Stephen Ridley said, "in honesty, I sat down and found some amazing piano chords, beautiful piano music. I couldn't hear anything other than this song on them. It's got faith in it. And I've struggled with faith, but here it is. It was so immediate. I was with Fred Cox, and it just fell out. It's a song about being part of a group that isn't popular. It's a song about doing what is right when everybody tells you it's wrong. It's a song about knowing what you know, and sticking to what you can see is true, despite the attacks it will bring. It's not easy. Life's not easy, who cares. It hurts. Who cares?? It's about doing the right thing. Sticking together and fighting the good fight, the one where everyone wins. You either live authentically, or your never live at all. That's a very personal song to me. I love it. Needs a big f*cking orchestra behind it. It's an epic."
