Process and Water, a leading provider of commercial and industrial water treatment and recycling systems and services has recently expanded its business with two new service offerings.
Services Deionization focused script: Our Services Deionization (SDI) offering is specifically designed for customers in industries where high-purity water applications are common, such as the precision manufacturing, pharmaceutical, electronics and life sciences segments.
As deionization systems eliminate ions and remove potentially harmful minerals from process waters, their specialized resins become fouled over time. Periodic cleaning and regeneration of a system’s resins is required for proper operation. Resin regeneration is a complicated process that involves precision handling of a variety of chemicals—often toxic and dangerous ones. Process and Water’s new SDI offering enables customers to outsource this specialized task. With production, delivery and installation of portable, cation, anion and mixed bed resins, customers can ensure that this critical task is being handled by trained professionals. They also can avoid the significant equipment, materials and staffing costs required for handling this specialized task in-house.
Some of the media and ion exchange resin we employ include the following
Activated Carbon These units remove chlorine, chloramines and dissolved organic contaminants. Each replacement carbon unit contains virgin carbon to assure maximum water quality and service life of the bed.
Cation resins remove positively charged dissolved ionic contaminants such as calcium, sodium, magnesium, potassium, iron and manganese. The cation resins used are very durable to provide stability against osmotic, thermal and impact shock.
Anion resins remove negatively charged dissolved ionic contaminants such as carbonate, bicarbonates, sulfates, chlorides, nitrates and silica. The anion resins used offer stability against osmotic, thermal and impact shock. A variety of anion resins are available suitable for any water application.
For higher quality water with a more neutral pH than separate bed systems, as well as enhanced silica and CO2 removal mixed bed resin can be stand alone system or placed as a polisher after the separate two beds (cation & anion resins). Process and Water utilizes premium grade mixed bed resins with low TOC (total organic carbon) throw.
Process and Water SDI units produce the quality of water required for any application, up to 18.3 megohm resistivity. In-line quality monitors immediately alert users when resin tanks need to be changed.
Some of the benefits of an SDI system are:
• Minimal capital investment
• No operational responsibility.
• Water quality & quantity is guaranteed
• Flexible account configurations to respond to your immediate needs
• Stringent quality and traceability procedures insures performance
• High purity water for temporary situations
