Cinereous Vultures in Portugal — First-ever nestlings equipped with GPS tags in the Douro
Cinereous Vultures returned to the Douro Canyon following a very surprising and unique recolonization, and today the region is home to two breeding pairs that successfully hatched chicks this year! To better understand the behaviour and movements of the species, a LIFE Rupis team recently equipped both nestlings with GPS tags — a first in the region!
