The Exe estuary in South Devon in England is special - beautiful and full of wildlife, visited by local people, tourists and birds alike.
Every Winter it's home to the biggest flock of avocets in the country. This elegant wading bird is a star attraction famous for its upturned bill, and a graceful symbol for the RSPB The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds with its 1.2 million members.
