Exploring Kings Canyon National Park, California | Part 2: The Canyon and BEARS!

While on a travel nursing assignment in Oceanside, California, Rachel and David took a weekend getaway to Kings Canyon National Park!

This video is about our second day at the park! The drive to the canyon floor is absolutely breathtaking! There are many places where you can stop to take in the views on the way down. After we made it down, we hiked to Mist Falls! It is a 8.0 mile out and back trail (4 miles each way). We highly recommend! We got to see three black bears while on the trail, and the falls were huge! Next, we hiked to Roaring River Falls. The trail is only 0.3 miles long, and the falls are great. Thanks for watching!

Hi, we are Rachel and David. We have been avid travelers since we got married in September, 2016. We have traveled extensively throughout the USA as David was a travel nurse for 5 years.
