Large Pantry & Laundry Installation Remodel, #stoneunlimited

This kitchen pantry and laundry installation renovation project by Stoneunlimited was a fun undertaking with outstanding results. The original pantry, provided a lot of space for housing kitchen items but felt a bit closed in, as every bit of available space was being used from floor to ceiling in open view. It featured an area for a coffee bar and even housed a working sink.

The goal for the pantry was to provide storage that could hide away items, lengthen the space and provide the installation of a secondary laundry room on the main level of the house. We were able to achieve these goals by creating an opening on the back wall of the pantry; which adjoined a utility closet with a window that was being used by way of an outdoor entrance. The opening from the outside was closed off and a folding station was installed on the opposite wall with an already existing window that allows natural light to stream into the space.

The result of the renovation now showcases a streamline view from the entry from the kitchen down to the far end laundry room. Waypoint 410 Shaker maple upper cabinets in Cashmere finish have been installed to create space and to hide away items. Waypoint bookshelves provide a lot of space for food storage and can be adjusted to accommodate different heights of items.

The show stoppers of this pantry/laundry closet are the beautiful White Springs natural stone countertop and arabesque crackle mosaic lantern tile that provide a touch of sophistication.
