Surviving Hypothermia: into Freezing Cold Water ~ making a FIRE | Survival Challenge

What to do when you end up in freezing cold water, when in a remote environment outdoors? ~ Successfully making a fire in these extreme wet and cold conditions gives you a powerful heat source to warm up and beat Hypothermia... However, hypothermic conditions make the body and mind less effective, possibly causing you to make the wrong choices and having struggles with putting basic skills to practice... In this video I challenge myself to see what a scenario like this is like: experiencing the cold shock and how well I succeed in making a fire under extreme conditions.

As a bonus I give my opinion on the u.s. combat survival blanket. A life saving, versatile item to have in your pack!
