Devil May Cry 2 (4K) S Ranking Dante Mission 16 , 17 , 18 + Secrets

M.17 starts ~ 14:55 , M.18 (Dante end) starts ~ 21:11 . Mission 16 took forever and then some to put together, really pushes the tolerance limits with the secrets ordeal. Starting with Arius' burst of insanity the game actually started to charm me. Argosax the Chaos is the best blob boss of the series hands down, the concept is great and the execution is pretty much there, you can get close and personal with it or stick far. Fighting The Despair Embodied is actually very fun and has multiple ways of doing it stylishly with jumps and swordplay, different hearts and so on, though the previous missions stole my thunder so I'm sticking to the cheese of safety mostly. The most frustrating thing about this game is that it was rushed out while it could have polished its cool new mechanics more, the soundtrack is great, the game art is at times very interesting, evasion/acrobatics/proto-gunslinger goodness, on-the-fly switching of guns and then you get into it and you get screwed over by the lousy hit-detection, bad fixed camera system, bland big areas, the style system that wants you spamming the two sword moves that 75% of the time hit enemies and stagger them while endlessly peppering them with all the guns and then spamming evasion to keep it going for as long as you can (mission end style average stat is truly BS), missions are all over the place from short arena/bosses to 10-minute ironman triathlons. At least for the next game they managed to make one of the best action video games of all time.
