SWFL Eagles ~ E17's TRIUMPHANT Return To The Nest Tree! Perfect Flight & Landing! 💕 4.14.21

After successfully fledging this afternoon, E17 stayed in the front pine for about 4 hours before executing a perfect return flight back to the nest tree! E17 demonstrates the confidence to maneuver circling back around to land on the attic like a pro!! Well done E17 ♥♥ E18 is watching from the nest and is taking notes for her own imminent fledge!

E17 then heads up to the trunk extension and checks out the camera strap before coming back to the attic. E17 also hit another first today by flying up to the treetop perch ( aka Mom's throne) and looked down at the pasture & nest from this unique vantage point! Stunning footage of E17 on the upper branches looking strong, confident and regal! E17 is going to practice flying, landing and exploring the pasture in the upcoming days! E18 will be working on taking that first flight any day now! Thank you for watching!
