The hindenburg experiment

A hydrogen balloon catches fire, just like the Hindenburg. Although the Hindenburg desaster was probalby caused by he paint on the outside and not a spark insidem, this is a fun demonstration. Pure hydrogen would NOT burn, since oxygen is requried for combustion. The Hindenburg burned from he outside before the escaping Hydrogen could mix with oxygen. Once Hydrogen was mixed with oxygen, it did burn. A sad story but one we can learn from.
