Vostok Amphibian - Watchmaker Review

With a significant cult following the Vostok Amphibian is a classic Russian made dive watch. It sports several elegant design features that help it survive the intense water pressure present at depth.

This video starts with some footage which clearly demonstrates why a dive watch needs to have no weaknesses in the integrity of its case. This footage shows me doing a demonstration of what a pressure test fail looks like. I used an Invicta Pro Diver which had a small crack in it's exhibition case back. I intended the footage to show how a constant stream of bubbles can be seen escaping the case . I did not intend to blow the back off the watch and this is only at 60 meters worth of pressure.
