Product Spotlight: The Digital Reloading Scale
Every reloader should have a little digital scale on their bench, says Brownells Gun Tech™ Steve Ostrem. It can be a scale specifically designed for reloading, such as the Hornady M2 Bench Scale or G3-1500 Pocket Scale, or even a plain utilitarian household scale. Just as long as it provides a readout in GRAINS. Maybe you spilled a bunch of 9mm Luger bullets on the bench.... Which ones are the 115 grain ones and which weigh 124 grains? That little digital scale will save the day! Lets you double-check charges to make sure your powder measure is working correctly. Big help in comparing brass case and bullet weights, too. Steve explains how he uses his scale to watchdog his progressive press for squib loads. A digital scale is a necessary reloading tool!
