12/03/2025 - Jerks and cleans practice

- 2'30" jerks, 2x20kg
- 5' jerks, 2x16kg
-2'/1/2' cleans, 2x 20kg

A real meat grinder session, I'm still shocked and completely humbled at how painful max speed jerks are with the 16kgs, they absolutely brutalized my quads. The limiting factor is not my cardio or breathing here at all, it's pure pain and lactic acid buildup in my quads, and there is just no way to find any relaxation or make it feel any better during the set. With the cleans at the end, this time, my grip/forearms felt fine, so maybe those are getting stronger, but this time my biceps also were on fire by the end, near the elbow area. Just absolute, unrelenting pain and lactic acid. Good thing I like that, lol. After I finished crying like a baby at the end I followed it up with heavy chinups/military presses/reverse lunges, took awhile but got it all done. Long, painful, solid workout day. Gonna sleep like a baby tonight.
