NBA Smartest Plays (Ultimate Compilation)

Some NBA players think outside the box and do plays that none of his teammates will ever thought of. Some of these smart plays ended up helping them win a playoff game a playoff series or a just a regular season game.

1. Rajon Rondo: in game 1 of the 2012 semi finals he purposely fouled jute holiday so they won't be able to attempt a 3 then ran away with the ball so he won't get fouled and ended up winning the game for them.

3. David west immediately fouls jamaal magloire because he is a shit free throw shooter and they could not attempt a 3 pointer. So we got to see two missed free throws (one of them being a airball) and that sealed the game for the Pacers.

4 Jason Kidd knew if he bumped the coach of the hawks (Mike Woodson) Woodson would get a technical foul. He did that cuz he was on the court the coach got pissed and he got to shoot one free time which gave the mavericks momentum to win the game. May be a douche bag play but hey it worked.

5 Manu Ginobili nutmeg Demar Derozan while he went out of bounds then went back in the get the ball and score an and 1. I'm pretty sure that play was illegal but smart play overall.

Ty Lawson does not touch the ball therefore the shot clock doesn't start but the regular clock is still going which makes the nuggets lose 20 seconds of spare time in crunch time. It was a straight troll move

2.Jason kidd does not have a time out so he tells one of his teammates to accidentally bump into him so he can spill the drink and make a play. Jason Kidd was on the list before but it wasn't worth it because at the end they lost and he owes the NBA 50k for a fine

3.Kobe Bryant and the lakers fooled the New Orleans Hornets by making them think they were trying to score on the wrong basket but they didn't they went straight to the left side of the court with a amazing transition dunk which was also clutch.

4. Jason terry makes a move to distract jr smith by having both of them handshake each other leaving tony snell open for the dunk. Classic JR and good bench play by terry

5. Lebron James cherry picks against the nets because the nets suck he dosent expect them to score so he just waited until they messed up and bam easy bucket.

1. Chris Paul sacrifices himself to protect Deandre Jordan so he won't get fouled from the hack a shaq method the Celtics were using.

2. Russell Westbrook throws a off the back inbound to get a basketball this has been done numerous times I have made a video on it before it's called nba off the back inbounds so go check it out.

3.nate wolters and Andre Miller call fake timeouts so they could get the easy bucket.

4. When your down by 3 you have think of something smart and that is what Yao Ming and Steven Adams did.

5. When you have to pat the stats just fake a handshake with the other team and steal the ball.

6.marcelo hides behind the coach to get a Easy and sneaky steal. What a play.

Rajon rondo tenure in Sacramento was great but they had bad chemistry but for this particular play rondo directs cousins to the corner because them getting a layup did not matter. They needed a 3 to win and rondos iq made them not even get a shot off.

2. In the 2017 nba playoffs Andre Roberson was cold in the line so they did a hack a Roberson on him no matter how much times he tries to run he would get fouled and then be shamed to shoot his free throws.

3. Jeremy pargo in the summer league made a insane double crossover everyone thought he was going to finish but they were damn wrong he made a amazing pass.

4. Lebron James took walking the dog to the next next level it was even more ultimate to ty Lawson’s tbh because he wasted 27 SECONDS.

5. Shaquille o Neal has been known to be a bad free throw shooter that’s why they made a hack a shaq. I know this was just a joke play for the spurs but they just immediately fouled shaq. Hey that’s 4 less fouls from shaq being able to shoot from the free throw line *popovich thumbs up*
