Our Small Tropical Garden in late spring / early summer

A compilation of our exotic garden in the past few weeks. It's that time of the year again were the big leaved plants are really begin to shine!

I planted a new small tree in the shade border. There was a gap there and I was looking for a small, upright, purple colored tree or shrub. I think the Corylus avellana 'Anny's Purple Dream' is perfect for that spot. I was looking for something exotic and I came back with a Hazel, but it really fit and it doesn't grow that big (max 3 meters).
