Here, from 1984, the Sinclair ZX Spectrum shows off its wordprocessing capabilities.
Back then a wordprocessor cost two thousand pounds.

The 32-column ZX Spectrum and ZX Printer would both seem ill-suited with only 40 rubber keys on the computer but by using a smaller bit-mapped font some professional results were possible.

The program could also output to a serial or parallel printer and was bundled free with the Microdrive Expansion Pack from Sinclair Research.
