Senator Rand Paul says it’s ‘amazing’ that so few on the opposite side of the political aisle seem to care about the dangerousness gain-of-function research poses to the world. COVID has a 1 percent mortality rate, he says, yet it still managed to cause massive destruction around the world. So what if the next mistake results in a leaked virus with a FIFTY percent mortality rate? Because scientists ARE researching viruses as dangerous as that, Sen. Paul says, and some — including Dr. Fauci — believe the risk is worth it. ‘All of humanity could be wiped out if they make [another] tragic error,’ Glenn says, so it’s probably time Democrats start paying attention…
