Rio Tinto Kennecott Trials Battery Electric Vehicles

Together with our technology and engineering partner, @SandvikGroup, we kicked off a trial for a new technology of battery electric vehicles (BEV) for our underground development. This technology is being used for a haul truck and a loader.

The trial is testament to Rio Tinto Kennecott's commitment to employees’ wellbeing, sustainable mining, and our pursuit of innovations.
