We came out questioning everything. Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter is one of those performances you simply cannot prepare for — magnetic, terrifying, and utterly hypnotic in every single scene. And Jodie Foster as Clarice? Absolutely brilliant. The way this film builds tension without relying on cheap jump scares, just pure, suffocating psychological dread had us gripped from the very first frame. The Buffalo Bill storyline escalated in ways we didn't see coming, and by the time that ending hit... mate. We were done. This is why people call it one of the greatest films ever made. We completely get it now.
