"Won't Be Able To Forgive Him": Maithili Thakur Bashes Pappu Yadav For 'Insulting' Women

A political controversy erupted in Bihar's Gaya after BJP MLA Maithili Thakur on Sunday strongly condemned an alleged remark by Independent MP Pappu Yadav, calling it inappropriate and hurtful to women leaders. Reacting to the statement, she said, "This is a very indecent remark... I myself come from a family where we consider what kind of atmosphere the place will have where we are going. My father also encouraged me to enter politics only after trusting me... He has made such a grave accusation against women leaders... I think such people should apologise, although I don't think that even if they do apologise, we will be able to forgive them because they have caused a very serious hurt."
