Ace Combat 6 emulation - Effect of framerate on speed gain/loss
Note that while I didn't show it, braking performance is also affected just like high-G speed loss. As far as I can tell so far, only this aspect of the in-game logic seems to be affected by framerate, with other aspects like mobility, weapon performance or AI behavior seeming about the same. So running at 60 fps is essentially a tradeoff as it's not too broken while looking much nicer, but if you want the pure intended experience you should just keep vsync on or cap it at 30 fps. And going beyond 60 just breaks that aspect further depending on the actual framerate, so it's definitely not recommended.
