Acid Base Equilibrium Practice - Organic Chemistry
http://Leah4sci.com/acidbase presents: Organic Chemistry Acid Base Equilibrium Practice Questions
Need help with Orgo? Download my free guide ’10 Secrets to Acing Organic Chemistry’ HERE: http://leah4sci.com/orgo-ebook/
Organic Chemistry acid base equilibrium practice questions. Ranking acids and bases is about more than just knowing what is stronger/weaker. This video walks you through a few practice questions where you’re asked to determine the position of equilibrium for acid base reactions WITHOUT using PKA values. Instead we’re using CARIO to determine which acids and bases are stronger and predicting the reaction direction accordingly.
In this video:
[0:18] CARIO Meaning
[1:02] Direction of equilibrium
[4:32] Sample problem #2
[7:21] Sample problem#3
[9:31] Violating Octet rule
