How to use the Google Docs: Voice Typing/ Auto Speech to Text

Make sure your computer's microphone is on and working.
You can check your computer manual for instructions on how to turn on your microphone
Open a new Google Doc and click on "Tools" in the toolbar.

From the drop-down menu, select "Voice Typing" or click the Ctrl+Shift+S (on Windows) or Command+Shift+S (on Mac) shortcut to activate it [3].

A window with a microphone icon will appear.
Click on it when you're ready to dictate your YouTube description.
You can move the tool out of the way by clicking and dragging the window wherever you want

Speak clearly and dictate your YouTube description.
You can add punctuation marks such as commas and periods by saying "comma" or "period" [2].

Once you've finished dictating, proofread your description and make any necessary edits.

Copy and paste your YouTube description into the video's description box when uploading your video to YouTube.
