Viking Reenactment | Ohio Viking Fest '21 with Dansk Spyd

Ever wonder what it's like to be a historical reenactor? Join me at my very first Viking Festival as a reenactor with the group Dansk Spyd: Indiana Chapter Hrafn Hird.

EDIT: I am no longer in this group as the Indiana chapter has since disbanded. If you are around Muncie, IN I am part of a group we have founded called Grimsborg. We are building our numbers and practice fighting with shield, spear, sword, and axe every Sunday.

We in Dansk Spyd are a conglomerate of Viking Age reenactors focused primarily on competitive steel combat, period crafting and techniques, and living history reenactment, with the intention of spreading information and education about the many unique subcultures and regional differences of the larger culture of Nordic peoples of the time.
