【Yakuza 3 Remastered】Chapter 5 Boss - Men In Black No Damage (NG/Hard)

Soul Lv. 3 / Tech Lv. 6 / Body Lv. 5 / Heat Lv. 5 / No Weapons / No Equipment

Another boss fight five minutes after the last one lol good one RGG! I actually like fighting against the leader and think his moveset's sick af. I don't have much else to say so I will instead rant about the stuff that kind of sucks about Y3's battle mechanics, even though I really love this game's systems a lot.

Sidestep vs Circle Strafe : If you dodge an attack by quickstepping to the side, you SHOULD circle around them and end up at their back. If person A attacks you but you are locked on to person B who is behind them, you will simply quickstep horizontally and get tagged by person A's attack, since you won't travel behind them. You see me being very particular about locking on to the leader because of this.

Heat actions & Fear State : Most heat actions can only be done when enemies are in a neutral state. If they are attacking, or in this case, scared, you cannot use heat actions. In the case of afraid enemies, it makes heat actions harder to perform and not in a game balance sort of way so it feels awful. You also can't use weapon heat actions on stunned enemies so that kind of sucks too.

Why am I bringing up these points specifically? Because they're very relevant to my experience with this fight.
