JUST START! Let the song take you where it wants to go - DAWless Song From Scratch

More often than not, I don't have an idea when I start a new track - and that's fine! The most important thing is to JUST START. Find a sound or a groove that inspires you and let it lead you to the next thing. Become a conduit and let the song tell you where it wants to go.

In this condensed edit from my recent Live we'll build up a song completely FROM SCRATCH with no idea where it will go! We'll start by using the Synthstrom Deluge as a drum machine to build up a groove (with tips and tricks to make your beat groove along the way) and then move to other pieces of gear like the Moog DFAM, Cyma Forma ALT, and Moog Subsequent 37 as one sound or one idea leads to the next.
