Feeding Bees Sugar Syrup in Spring
Before plants start producing nectar it is crucial to get in the hives to check what they have left of their winter honey stores. If there isn't much honey left, it is important to get a feeder on the hive to help supplement them with sugar syrup to make sure they make it through the last bit of cold weather before spring really takes off. We use a hive top feeder with floats for our hives.
