Mal Blum - Cool Party (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO)

I made a music video in a night for my buddy Mal Blum song COOL PARTY.

Here's what happened: I saw this trend of music videos for male artists with different women dancing and I thought, US QUEERS CAN DO THAT! So I wanted to make a queer-gaze version of Nice For What or Girls Like You with my community and friends.

Alexis G. Zall and I threw a joint birthday party and I set up a ring light and background in my apartment. When people showed up to the party, I surprised them with a music video! They could dance if they wanted to (they could leave their friends behind, you get it.) Not everyone in the video is queer, but we're all artists and weirdos and creatives and I love my friends and I wanted to show, especially on Pride, that you can grow up and have the community you need. Young me would be STOKED that these people are in my life.
