Soccer superstar Lionel Messi has an impressive real estate portfolio. He owns multiple mansions, but his primary residence is an impressive manor in Castelldefels, Spain. Messi bought the mansion in 2009 for $2 million and has since spent millions renovating the stately abode. Messi’s mansion is estimated to be worth about $7 million today, and it’s just a short drive from Camp Nou football stadium. Inside Messi’s mansion you will find panoramic windows, elegant wooden floorboards, and dark walnut-colored furniture. The palatial estate features a home theatre, gym, private spa, swimming pool, and even a mini soccer pitch. Messi enjoys relaxing on the terrace of his mansion with friends and family. Messi once had the opportunity to live in a soccer-ball-shaped mansion. One-Zero Eco-House is an environmentally-friendly mansion concept that was designed for Lionel Messi. Spanish architect Luis de Garrido was inspired by Messi and created a home concept filled with references to the famous soccer player. If built, One-Zero Eco-House would feature wooden terraces, a huge swimming pool, a hexagonal-shaped roof, and a rooftop garden. When viewed from above, One-Zero Eco-House would look like a soccer ball. A bird’s-eye view would also reveal a hidden number 10 and a huge soccer pitch. One-Zero Eco-House was supposed to be built in the Llavaneres Sant Andreu municipality just outside of Barcelona, but Messi and De Garrido were not able to come to an agreement on the mansion concept. One-Zero Eco-House would cost about $8.2 million to build. Keep watching to learn more about One-Zero Eco-House.
