80 Series Battery Maintenance | Overlanding Australia

The two batteries in my 80 series Landcruiser has been looked after pretty well. When my 4x4 is not on an overlanding trip it stays parked. So looking after the batteries, keeping them charged is critical in making sure the battery life is not compromised. To do this I have been using a Noco Genius battery charger. But today I had to replace my cranking battery. It had gone completely dead. Recharging was not working as the battery could not hold the charge. It had pretty much come to the end of its life. Considering this battery had lasted seven and a half years, I was not complaining. In fact, I was super stoked that it had lasted this long.
