AEF~NEFL Nest Cam~intruder~gabby defends eggs and nest 1 16 2021

Gabby defends the nest and her eggs from an intruder. The video shows a young adult eagle (still with razor stripes on head and black stripes on tail) landing on a close branch to the nest. Gabby quick to get off eggs and defend, keeping the intruder away from the eggs. It was quick but the intruder was persistent. It appeared that Gabby then flew off the nest trying to draw the intruder off the nest. Samson was seen flying in just a few mins later to care for the eggs. We were all happy to see Gabby fly in a few mins after that. Both Gabby and Samson did a wonderful job defending their precious eggs! What a wonderful team they make. All is fine in the pine!
