Samuel & Carla | Someone You Loved

Firstly this has MAJOR elite spoilers so if you haven't watched s3 I would advise you to stop reading now.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY. IT'S BEEN DAYS AND I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE WE DIDN'T GET OUR ENDGAME. WE WENT THROUGH ALL THE ANGST TO GET EVEN MORE ANGST. WHAT THE FUCK.

So I loved the angst this season. We really saw how they both truly felt for each other. Especially Carla. They literally love each other SO MUCH. The way Carla had to act cold and distant because her father threatened Samuel. How every time she walked away from him she was on the verge of tears. How broken Samuel was without Carla. All the long distance stares. Literally they built Carmuel up so perfectly this season that I thought for sure we would get an epic reunion scene. HAHA. Jokes on me.

I wish we got more Carmuel this season. Like the first two episodes were great but after that all we got were sad glances until the end. After what they gave us last season I honestly expected more scenes, even with them being separated and all. Also Carla&Yeray and Samuel&Rebeka were the two most useless ships ever.

The finale. Where do I even begin with that? WE STARTED AMAZING. Carla grabbing Samuel's hand and the way she was going to confess to be with him but then Rebe got in her head and she thought twice about what she was doing. I know most of the fandom hate Rebe for what she said but I don't. She's one of my favourite characters and technically she's not wrong. Carla literally went from wanting to be with Samuel to wanting what was best for him and that truly breaks my heart.

Their last scene absolutely BROKE ME. The way she told him she was leaving alone. The way she put her hand through his face. The way she held his face and brought him closer. The cheek kiss. Literally everything. You could see HOW MUCH these two love each other but they know that maybe it's not right for them. Something inside of them know they aren't the best choice and THAT HURTS.

Not at the show ending their story with Carla crying in her car without saying goodbye to Samuel and Samuel eating macaroni alone. THE ELITE WRITERS DID THIS ON PURPOSE. I know a lot of people like to have hope that Carmuel were kind of endgame but to me that last scene kinda proved they weren't. Not now anyway. Samuel erasing the message kinda meant that he's not going to contact her unless she does first. And Carla crying in the car meant she's not going to contact him as she's leaving and letting him go. But I have hope they will find their way back to each other in the end. But if we're going from their last scene, that wasn't endgame and it hurts me so much.

I DIDN'T GET MY ENDGAME AND I'M GOING TO BE SAD FOR WEEKS.

So I know I've vidded this song before. Twice actually. But I have never vidded Carmuel to it and I needed to. Especially with how their story ended up. Ugh. So much pain. Also I kinda stuffed up the beginning with too many rushed voiceovers so please don't turn off my video because of it I swear the rest of the video is okay!

Also I definitely plan to vid them again in the next week because one video is not enough since we lost. Leave me song suggestions below! Love you guys.
