Make terrain from height map with Blender - UnrealEd 469d - UT99

Guide for make terrain from height map and landscape texture (optional).

Steps:
1. Add mesh plane.
2. Subdivide.
3. Displace
4. Decimate
5. Export obj (selected only)
6. Import obj into UnrealEd
7. Make terrain

You can done that in 469d/e version (need import obj to builder brush).
However precise UV appear only in 469f, so for precise set landscape texture on terrain you will need 469f. Or maybe it be fine for you if terrain not so big.

Height map and landscape texture you can get from some source. Sculpt in special programs or even in Blender via plugins.
