Porsche Macan Turbo | Driving and Sound

In 2014, Porsche presented the Macan, a new mid-sized SUV that was meant to be sporty like nothing else in that segment. After spending a day with the Macan Turbo on some awesome mountain roads, we couldn’t agree more.
The Macan Turbo is powered by a 3.6l biturbo V6, which develops 400 hp and 550 Nm of torque from just 1350 rpm. Although it weighs 2 tonnes, this SUV goes from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds with the Sport Chrono Package! It feels surprisingly agile for the type of car and the engine sounds really good, especially with the optional Sports Exhaust fitted to our test car.
The entry-level Macan is offered with a 2.0l turbocharged 4-cylinder, and even that one can do 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.
Other models in the line-up are the S (3.0l biturbo V6, 340 hp), S Diesel (3.0l turbodiesel V6, 258 hp) and GTS (3.0l biturbo V6, 360 hp). At the top of the line is the Macan Turbo Performance, with 440 hp and an impressive 0-100 km/h time of 4.4 seconds.
