Thrifted Johnston & Murphy Oxford shine Before & After

This video features cleanup of a pair of Johnston & Murphy "Melton" cap toe Oxfords that I thrifted recently. The cleanup includes wiping off the shoes, inserting tight fitting shoe trees to get the wrinkles out, conditioning with Pure Polish Cleaner Conditioner, brushing with a horse hair brush, polishing with Pure Polish black paste wax, brushing again, mirror shining the toe caps with Pure Polish high shine paste wax, re-coloring the edges of the soles with Simple Shine edge dressing, and shining the edges of the soles and heels with black Saphir Medaille D'Or Mirror Gloss wax.

This video is dedicated to the memory of our wonderful dog Rylee (see outro for photos). Rylee was an approximately 8 or 9 year old Vizsla that we rescued about 3.5 years ago. She was beaten by her previous owner, and her demeanor improved 200% with us. She was pampered! Unfortunately, earlier this month she went into heart failure from what they think was a tumor on her heart. Her loss was painful, but we feel blessed to have had her love for the time that we did.
