Redken Shades EQ cream and cover plus education (Hair Color 101)

Welcome! Todays topic will be all about redkens demi permeant lines redken shades eq cream and shades eq cover plus. I get a lot of questions on how to use each line and when to use it. I have the swatch book for this line so I will be going over each line and color family and throw out a few pointers of when to use each. if you buy between 9-18+ shades eq colors you can get a free color kit that includes a shade chart.
here is a quick summary:

Shades Eq cream Acidic color-
gives a deeper deposit of color but alot of shine
can blend gray
use with 10vol devloper
process up to 30min
can be used to lowlight, refresh, or enhance

Shades eq cover plus-
mild alkeline demi permeant color
up to 1-1 1/2 levels of lift
use with 10vol or 20vol
covers up to 75% of gray hair
process for 30min (some do 45)
great for bumping the base, low-lighting, subtle hi lights, or evening out hair color
