After a massive solar explosion on Monday, ethereal plasma loops emerged above the sun's surface, marking the aftermath of a significant M-class solar flare from sunspot AR3559.

These loops, usually preceding solar flares and held in place by magnetic fields, defy the norm by appearing post-explosion, despite expectations of being launched into space as coronal mass ejections (CMEs). Captured in images, these faint, intriguing structures, known as post-flare loops (PFLs), are visible through special H-alpha filters, highlighting the sun's complex magnetic interactions.
