Elton John - Roller Coaster (1986)

An unreleased discarded mid-1980s demo of a song by Elton John. In this mostly instrumental demo Elton seems to have been suggesting lyrics or a topic of a song. This apparently was simply a way for him to create music, when he wasn't writing to Bernie Taupin's lyrics. A demo such as this would have been given to Gary Osborne, who would then write a proper lyric to the tune.
Another demo from the same period seems to be a further development of this song, called "Is It You?" But those lyrics seem to be also incomplete. This is evidently a song that never really got anywhere. Somehow the demo survived.... Mid-80s Elton John in very raw and rough form.
