Trinitarianism 17.4: Arguments Against the Deity of Jesus Christ, part 9
Anti-Trinitarians argue that Revelation 3:14 calls Christ "the beginning of the creation of God" so He must be a creature, but the verse means that Christ begins the creation as the Creator, not that He is Himself created. The Son is the One who begins the creation, not one who is begun. Christ is called the beginner (Greek arche, origin or source) of the creation (See Revelation 1:8). John 10:34-36 is also alleged to prove Christ is "a god," but this polytheistic anti-Trinitarian argument is invalid. From the Trinitarianism class at the FaithSaves website; Professor Thomas Ross teaches a college or seminary level class on Trinitarianism, the doctrine of the Trinity.
